Camping Le Chassiron is a small campsite (only 40 pitches), set out over a one-hectare, beautifullylandscaped site boasting an exceptional setting and plenty of space to breathe.

So as not to disturb the site’s peaceful environment with noisy activities, we never organize foam parties, loud evening entertainment, Zumba fitness classes with blaring sound systems, groups of bikers, or car tuning events with roaring engines. At Camping Le Chassiron, thereis none of that.

But you will be able to enjoy wellness sessions and massages in our TINY CABANE, dig your fingers into the soil with a permaculture session run by a local organization in our shared garden, settle back with a book,relax beside the organic pond, learn about beekeeping and discover the European dark bee hive, observe migratory birds, or quite simply contemplate the lighthouse and the breathtaking sunsets over the ocean while sipping a cool beverage, comfortably seated on the terrace of the TINY CAFE...

The clifftops are just 200m from the campsite, and from there you can take a trail formed by natural erosion to explore Chassiron’s rocky foreshore, forage for shellfish, or discover its famous fish locks. If you’d like to get active you can go canoeing, kayaking, or paddle boarding, among other water sports, but you’ll need to be an experienced surfer to ride the jaw-dropping waves at this famous surf spot, which is known to be really technically demanding.

If you’re looking to relax on a sandy beach, it is just a 10 minute bike ride, mostly along cycle paths, to the beaches at Les Huttes on the ocean side of the island or Saint Denis on the continental side. Or you can carry on further to discover the island's diverse landscapes, with its little fishing harbours, beaches, forests, vineyards, groves, oyster marshes dotted with picturesque coloured huts, traditional villages, markets selling local island produce and crafts, and more besides...
